👮‍♂️ Neighbourhood Policing Update – Wembley |
||
|
On Tuesday 14 April 2026, officers carried out routine patrols across the Wembley Central and Wembley Hill wards to address local concerns and improve community safety.
During patrols, officers dealt with a group of males who were being rowdy and street drinking at the rear of residential properties, causing nuisance and annoyance to residents. All individuals were issued Anti‑Social Behaviour warning notices, dispersed from the area, and an illegal e‑scooter was seized.
Later, officers encountered another e‑scooter rider travelling along the pavement and coming into contact with pedestrians, creating a genuine risk to public safety. Despite being asked to stop, the rider attempted to make off before entering a dead‑end road where officers were able to stop him safely. The e‑scooter, capable of significant speeds, was seized and the rider reported for relevant offences.
Additional checks were carried out on other e‑scooter and e‑bike riders, with advice provided and vehicles seized where necessary to prevent further risk.
Patrols continued throughout Wembley High Road, Harrow Road, London Road, Crown Walk, Ealing Road, King Edward Park and Chatsworth Avenue, ensuring visibility and responding to issues as they arose.
✅ We remain committed to tackling anti‑social behaviour and dangerous riding to help keep Wembley safe for everyone.
